Amber Redican

Research Coordinator and Postgraduate Programmes Coordinator

020 7942 2168

I contribute to VARI’s thriving research community and activities as Research Coordinator and Postgraduate Programmes Coordinator. In these roles I assist with the organisation of symposia, workshops and other research events, coordinate activities for the V&A’s PhD student community, provide administrative support across the VARI teams and projects, and manage VARI’s internal Lunchtime Research Seminar series. I work with internal and external participants with the aim of creating dialogue between researchers inside and beyond the Museum.

I have two First Class degrees from Goldsmiths, University of London: a MA in Anthropology and Museum Practice and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. My academic and ceramic work explores provenance, the Anthropocene, rewilding, museum collecting, ceramic histories, and speculative futures.
