Women Photographing Architecture: The Royal Photographic Society, knowledge sharing networks and changing gender roles (1920-1939)

I am an AHRC-funded CDP student with the V&A and Birkbeck, University of London. My research looks at photographic societies, amateur and professional practice, societal changes and gender expectations to study architectural photography by women in interwar Britain. I have a background in Photography and an MA in Photographic History. Previously I have held roles in museum and university archives working with photographic collections and undertaking digitisation projects.

My supervisors are Professor Patrizia Di Bello, Birkbeck, University of London and Dr Simona Valeriani and Dr Marta Weiss, V&A.
