PhD Student, V&A / Warburg Institute

A new history of the South Kensington Museum: 1852-1899

I am a part-time CDP student with the V&A and the Warburg Institute. My PhD project is a reassessment of the South Kensington Museum, looking at that institution holistically rather than as the predecessor of the 20th century V&A and Science Museums. In the other half of her week, I am the Assistant Rare Books Librarian at Lambeth Palace Library, and recently curated an exhibition there entitled “Cantate Domino: Music in the Lambeth Palace Library Collections”.

My CDP supervisors are Bill Sherman (Warburg Institute), Joanna Norman and Matti Watton (V&A), and Tim Boon (Science Museum).
