I am a curator, editor and writer concerned with the breadth of ceramic practice. I am the author and editor of Gordon Baldwin: Inscape, a 280-page monograph that brings together Baldwin’s ceramics, drawings and poetry for the first time in over 750 images of the artist’s work. Additionally, I have written for Ceramic Review, Ceramics Monthly, Ceramics Now and Ceramics: Art + Perception as well as for various galleries and publications. I have worked with important ceramic collections at the Sainsbury Centre (Norwich, UK), where I curated and coordinated the re-display of the permanent ceramic collections, and the Crafts Council (London, UK). I am a part-time PhD student at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) with my thesis The Abstract Vessel: defining ‘vesselism’ in the New British Ceramic (1955-1995).
